Auto starts playing - android auto

Hi, I really like the app but for years I've had an annoying issue. as soon as android auto connects to my car PlayerPro starts playing whatever I was listening too last time i had it on. it doesn't matter if PlayerPro was already closed on my phone. it would be 1 think if I was listening to music already but I could have youtube open & playing on my phone but as soon as android auto connects it will kill youtube & instead start playing PlayerPro. even worse, if I'm int he car listening to sirius, spotify, youtube, etc & android auto gets disconnected for a momment, as soon as it reconnects, PlayerPro takes over & starts playing. it's jarring because player pro plays louder that all those other apps so when it takes over, it's like something cranked the volume up & blasts the car.

I've already
- unchecked "Auto start" & "Bluetooth autostart" in the PlayerPro headset settings.
- unchecked "start music automatically" in android auto's settings
- gone thru the vehicle settings looking for anything else that might apply
- gone thru the phone settings looking for anything else that might apply

anyone have any suggestions? I can see several people have posted about this same issue here w/o a solution. thanks

UPDATE - i was wrong, this didn't fix it.

disabling the 2 lockscreen options "Enable Android lockscreen" & "Enable PlayerPro lockscreen" seems to have made this problem go away. I don't know which of the 2 was the culprit but I'm not screwing w/ it anymore. just glad that after more than a year of this annoyance, I haven't seen / heard it in a couple days. I'll repost if it comes back but fingers crossed, this did it.

I was wrong, yesterday the issue came back. I went thru all phone bluetooth, android auto, headphone settings. I went thru all PalyerPro settings. I went thru all vehicle settings in my Yukon. can't figure it out.

Hi,

Unchecking "Auto start" & "Bluetooth autostart" in the PlayerPro headset settings should work.
Try to reboot your phone as well.
