DSP pack and FFmpeg LGPL license issue

Postby ZeusXinau » Sat Mar 26, 2011 8:22 pm

Hello,
your player is one of the best on Android phones, I noticed that you're using FFmpeg library in your DSP pack, but your software doesn't follow terms of LGPL/GPL, there is even no LGPL/GPL license included with the software, no source available, nor FFmpeg license conditions met (http://ffmpeg.org/legal.html).
Can you please implement all this asap? I want to tweak ffmpeg library you're using. Thank you.

Nice, thanks! Though the license requirements are a bit more that that, but I can at least have my hands over sources.

Hi,

Yes licencing is more than that indeed. I just haven't had time yet to do the full stuff so I kept it to the minimum. The next release of the DSP pack will include all necessary legal stuff.

Thks,
