Pixel 6 playback issue and no lockscreen

When playing music the audio stops after a track is completed. The next song is being played, just no audio. The only way to restore audio is to rewind the song with the slider or advance / skip back to another track.
The lockscreen also does not function
Phone is Android 12 pixel 6pro.

I have the same issue re. the next song "playing" but no sound coming out, unless I rewind or go to next song.
However, the lockscreen functionality is fine for me.
I also have a Pixel 6 Pro with Android 12. Also using Jabra 75t bluetooth headphones.

I have the same issue using Pixel6 (not Pro) with Android 12.
Please fix it soon...

Hi there,
i have the same problem, also pixel 6 pro.
Since the first post was some time ago, could you please give us feedback as to whether the problem is being worked on in a timely manner?
Due to the bug, I simply can no longer use the app and am currently considering whether I have to switch to another music player app or not ...

Sorry to hear about this. Are you using the equalizer? If so, can you turn it off and see if that changes anything?

turning or having the equalizer on or off doesn't change anything on this issue.
I installed the new release v5.26 today but unfortunately no improvement.
The next song is still muted...
Do you plan fixing this issue with next release?

Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce this issue on our test phones. It seems to be Pixel 6 specific issue.
Can you send us a mail to our developer adress? We will need your help to debug.

I have the same issue with no sound after the first track, with a pixel 6. I have tried reinstalling and clearing the cache but no luck. Android 12 build SQ1D.220105.007

Can you try to disable gapless playback in the settings / audio playback settings?
