I have the same issue. I cannot 'Edit Tags' on any songs or album. I get 'Failed to edit songs'. This issue is not present on my Android version 7 but is present on my Android version 14. I believe this has something to do with the Android file system security upgrades that occurred several versions...

Hello, v5.37 still has the problem. As a previous poster has observed you can have an Artwork file named Cover.jpg and it is found by PlayerPro and able to be selected. No other .jpg files are available for selection. In my case there are 3 additional .jpg files in the directory that cannot be seen ...
